Washington DC and DC Area States 76 Largest Companies Audited Earnings Were $226 bil in 2 Years 2013 and 2012 Combined vs. Audited Losses of $189 bil in 2 Years 2009 and 2008 Combined

Since there are so many key Fundraisers scheduled in the next two weeks in the Metropolitan Washington DC Area including Maryland and Northern Virginia, I think it would be helpful to research how the 76 DC, Virginia and Maryland Headquartered Companies with Market Capitalizations now of at least $1 bil each and with annual audited financial statements filed with the SEC covering all years from 2008 to 2013 have done on the earnings front before, during and after the late 2008 financial meltdown.

The Total Audited Net Income from Continuing Operations for the two years 2013 and 2012 combined of these 76 Companies was a massive $225.6 bil as compared with Total Audited Net Losses from Continuing Operations of $188.5 bil for the two years 2009 and 2008 combined.  Yeah, that's a Total Two Years Earnings Improvement of a staggeringly massive $414.1 bil.

In addition, the Total Audited Earnings of these 76 Companies in 2013 of $167.4 bil were up an exceptionally off-the-charts 722% increase over the comparable earnings in 2007 of $7.2 bil, which was the peak year earnings before the disastrous effects of the 2008 financial meltdown hit......these DC Area Companies not only recouped the earnings they lost with the financial meltdown, but they also added another incredibly high 722% of earnings.

This phenomenally off-the-charts earnings recovery for these 76 largest DC, Virginia and Maryland Companies from 2008 to the most recent 2013 occurred when Virginia's two Senators were Democrats, Maryland's two Senators were Democrats, when Democrats controlled the US Senate, when President Obama was in office and when there were very effective US Fed Chairpersons.
