Dallas, TX Area Company Stock Prices Rip-Roaring Since March 6, 2009.....Up 642%

I found 88 Dallas, Texas Metro Area Headquartered Companies in Yahoo's or Google's superb Finance websites or from SEC filings with Total Market Capitalizations of at least $100 mil on June 27, 2014 and which also had their common stocks trading on each of the following three dates:
  • On December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second term
  • On March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the lowest point for the US stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the 2008 financial meltdown, and
  • also on June 27, 2014
I also included two Dallas Metro Area Companies which were sold in 2014.  That makes a total of 90 Dallas Area Companies.

The historical stock prices of these companies were obtained from the following two excellent internet resources....  Google Finance and MarketWatch Big Charts.

These 90 Dallas, Texas Metro Area Headquartered Companies had their average stock market prices decline by a massive 55% from December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second Presidential term, to March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the very lowest point for the overall stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the disastrous 2008 Financial Meltdown.

But in the slightly less than five years and 4 months since March 6, 2009, the equal-company-weighted average stock market prices of these same 90 Dallas Area Companies have increased by a phenomenal 642% through June 27, 2014, led mainly by Pier 1 Imports having its stock market price increase by a massive 101 times and Nexstar Broadcasting Group having its stock market price increase by a massive 76 times over this same most recent five years and 4 month period.

Altogether there were 6 of these 90 Dallas Metro Area Companies which had their stock market prices increase by at least 20 times and 13 of them which had their stock market prices increase by at least 10 times in the most recent 5 years and 4 months.

The 69 Dallas Area Non-Oil & Gas Companies had their average stock market prices increase by an off-the-charts 680% from March 6, 2009 to June 27, 2014.

The 21 Dallas Area Oil & Gas Companies had their average stock market prices increase by a spectacular 519% from March 6, 2009 to June 27, 2014.

Dallas Area citizens should be extremely pleased with the outstanding performance of a huge majority of their Dallas Area Companies during the Obama Administration.

Below here are the stock market prices of each of these 90 Dallas Metro Area Companies on June 27, 2014, on March 6, 2009, and on December 31, 2007, along with the related Stock Market Price Percentage Changes:

Colorado Company Stock Prices On Absolute Fire in the Most Recent Month

I found 59 Colorado Headquartered Companies in Yahoo's or Google's superb Finance websites or from SEC filings with Total Market Capitalizations of at least $100 mil on May 16, 2014 and which also had their common stocks trading on each of the following three dates:
  • On December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second term
  • On March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the lowest point for the US stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the 2008 financial meltdown, and
  • also on May 16, 2014
I also included one Colorado Company which was sold in December 2013.  And I also included 2 Colorado Companies whose common stock first started trading in 2008.  That makes a total of 62 Colorado Companies.

The historical stock prices of these companies were obtained from the following two excellent internet resources....  Google Finance and MarketWatch Big Charts.

These 62 Colorado Companies had their average stock market prices decline by a massive 62% from December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second Presidential term, to March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the very lowest point for the overall stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the disastrous 2008 Financial Meltdown.

But in the slightly less than five years and 4 months since March 6, 2009, the equal-company-weighted average stock market prices of these same 62 Colorado Companies have increased by a spectacular 501% through June 27, 2014, led mainly by Kodiak Oil & Gas having its stock market price increase by a massive 65 times over this same most recent five years and 4 month period.

In addition to Kodiak Oil & Gas, there were another 7 Colorado Companies which had their stock market prices increase by at least 10 times in the most recent 5 years and 4 months..... Advanced Emissions Solutions up 14 times, Innospec up 13 times, Crocs up 11 times,  Chipotle Mexican Grill up 11 times, Liberty Interactive up 11 times, Allied Motion Technologies up 10 times and Air Methods up 10 times.

The stock market prices of these Colorado Companies were absolutely on fire in the most recent month.  To illustrate this point, the average stock market prices of these 62 Colorado Companies had increased by a lower 444% in the slightly more than five years and two months from March 6, 2009 through May 16, 2014, as compared with a substantially higher 501% increase in the slightly less than five years and four months from March 6, 2009 through June 27, 2014.

To illustrate the overall excellent operational performance of these 62 Colorado Companies, only 4 of them experienced stock market price declines in the most recent slightly less than five years and four months.

Colorado citizens should be extremely pleased with the outstanding performance of nearly all of their Colorado Companies during the Obama Administration.

In similar fashion on the employment front, from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the US unemployment rate doubled from 5.0% in December 2007 to 10.0% in October 2009, early in President Obama's first term which was the very lowest point for the US Labor Market due to the lagging spillover effects resulting from the disastrous 2008 Financial Meltdown.

And then with the US economic stimulating actions of the Obama Administration, supported by both a Democratic controlled US Senate and US House (at the time), taking full effect, coupled with the Quantitative Easing by the US Fed, the US unemployment rate declined sharply from 10.0% in October 2009 to 6.3% in the most recently reported May 2014.

In like manner, Colorado's unemployment rate more than doubled, going from 4.1% in December 2007 to 8.3% in October 2009.  And then with the US economic stimulating actions of the Obama Administration, supported by both a Democratic controlled US Senate and US House (at the time), going full throttle, coupled with the Quantitative Easing by the US Fed, the Colorado unemployment rate declined markedly, going from 8.3% in October 2009 to 5.8% in the most recently reported May 2014.

Below here are the stock market prices of each of these 62 Colorado Companies on June 27, 2014, on March 6, 2009, and on December 31, 2007, along with the related Stock Market Price Percentage Changes:
