Alaska Company Average Stock Prices Up 348% Under Obama, Begich, Murkowski and the US Fed, After Being Down 55% Due to Financial Meltdown

I found 3 Alaska Headquartered Companies in Yahoo's superb Finance website with current Total Market Capitalizations of at least $100 mil and which also had their common stocks trading on each of the following three dates:
  • On December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second term
  • On March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the lowest point for the US stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the 2008 financial meltdown, and
  • also on today February 27, 2014
I also included below Alaska Air Group, which is headquartered in Seattle, since it has very substantial operations in Alaska.  That makes 4 Alaska Companies.

The historical stock prices of these companies were obtained from the following two excellent internet resources....  Google Finance and MarketWatch Big Charts.

These 4 Alaska Companies had their equally-company-weighted average stock market prices decline by a massive 55% from December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second Presidential term, to March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the very lowest point for the overall stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the disastrous 2008 Financial Meltdown.

But in the slightly less than five years since March 6, 2009, the equally-company-weighted average stock market prices of these same 4 Alaska Companies have increased by a very robust 348% through today February 27, 2014, led by Alaska Air Group.

The State of Alaska is blessed to have two equally exceptional US Senators.....Democrat Mark Begich and Republican Lisa Murkowski.  I would stack them up against any other pair of US Senators from the same State.  They both work exhaustively hard and very effectively for all of their Alaska businesses and citizens.  And they both are very likable and also very willing  to work across the aisle, and frequently do so.....something very rare in the present US Congress.

Alaska citizens should be very pleased with the strong performance of their Alaska Companies during the Obama Administration.

Below here are the stock market prices of these 4 Alaska Companies on February 27, 2014, on March 6, 2009, and on December 31, 2007, along with the related % Changes for these two periods of time:

I found 12 Alabama Headquartered Companies in Yahoo's superb Finance website with current Total Market Capitalizations of at least $100 mil and which also had their common stocks trading on each of the following three dates:

I also included below the 1 Alabama Company which were sold very recently.  That makes 13 Alabama Companies.

The historical stock prices of these companies were obtained from the following two excellent internet resources....  Google Finance and MarketWatch Big Charts.

These 13 Alabama Companies had their equally-company-weighted average stock market prices decline by a huge 51% from December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second Presidential term, to March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the very lowest point for the overall stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the disastrous 2008 Financial Meltdown.

To illustrate the strong operational performance of these 13 Alabama Companies, 12 of them had stock market price increases since March 6, 2009.

Arkansas Company Average Stock Prices Up 413% Under Obama, Pryor, Beebe and the US Fed, After Being Down 38% Due to Financial Meltdown

I found 15 Arkansas Headquartered Companies in Yahoo's superb Finance website with current Total Market Capitalizations of at least $100 mil and which also had their common stocks trading on each of the following three dates:
  • On December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second term
  • On March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the lowest point for the US stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the 2008 financial meltdown, and
  • also on yesterday February 26, 2014
Excluded from the 15 was Windstream Holdings which went through a complicated Corporate Reorganization during 2013.

The historical stock prices of these companies were obtained from the following two excellent internet resources....  Google Finance and MarketWatch Big Charts.

These 15 Arkansas Companies had their equally-company-weighted average stock market prices decline by a huge 38% from December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second Presidential term, to March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the very lowest point for the overall stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the disastrous 2008 Financial Meltdown.

But in the slightly less than five years since March 6, 2009, the equally-company-weighted average stock market prices of these same 15 Arkansas Companies have increased by a very impressive 413% through yesterday February 26, 2014.

The main driver of this overall average stock market price growth of 413% for the most recent 5 years was Dillard's, whose stock market price increased by a massive 28 times.

Wal-Mart's seemingly modest 53% stock market price growth in the most recent 5 years is misleading since it was one of the few Companies whose common stock price did not substantially decline with the 2008 financial meltdown.....in fact, its stock market price actually increased by 3% from December 31, 2007 to March 6, 2009.  And this 53% stock market price growth excludes cash dividends investors received.

To illustrate the exceptional consistency of these Arkansas Companies, all 15 of them had stock market price increases in the most recent 5 years.

Arkansas citizens should be extremely pleased with the outstanding performance of their Arkansas Companies during the Obama Administration.

I think more than anyone in office, this across-the-board outstanding operating performance of these Arkansas Companies is due to US Senator Mark Pryor, who works exhaustively and very effectively on behalf of Arkansas businesses of all sizes.

And I cannot think of anyone in either the US Senate or in the US House who is more middle-of-the-road in his political philosophy than Pryor, which is spot on with how so many Arkansas citizens also believe politically.

Below here are the stock market prices of these 15 Arkansas Companies on February 26, 2014, on March 6, 2009, and on December 31, 2007, along with the related % Changes for these two periods of time:

Arizona Company Average Stock Prices Up 324% Under Obama, McCain, Brewer and the US Fed, After Being Down 44% Due to Financial Meltdown

I found 27 Arizona Headquartered Companies in Yahoo's superb Finance website with current Total Market Capitalizations of at least $100 mil and which also had their common stocks trading on each of the following three dates:

I also included below the 2 Arizona Companies which were sold since December 2012.  And I also included below 1 Arizona Company which had its common stock first start trading in the November 2008.  That makes 30 Arizona Companies.

The historical stock prices of these companies were obtained from the following two excellent internet resources....  Google Finance and MarketWatch Big Charts.

These 30 Arizona Companies had their equally-company-weighted average stock market prices decline by a huge 44% from December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second Presidential term, to March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the very lowest point for the overall stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the disastrous 2008 Financial Meltdown.

But in the slightly less than five years since March 6, 2009, the equally-company-weighted average stock market prices of these same 30 Arizona Companies have increased by a robust 324% through yesterday February 26, 2014.

As you can see from the chart below, there were 5, or 17%, of Arizona's 30 Companies which had their stock market prices increase by more than 9 times in the most recent just short of 5 years.

Arizona citizens should be very pleased with the strong performance of nearly all of their Arizona Companies during the Obama Administration.

I think more than anyone in office, this strong operating performance of these Arizona Companies is on US Senator John McCain, who really knows how to effectively get things done for Arizona businesses of all sizes, and to do it with a great sense of humor.

California Company Average Stock Prices Up 472% Under Obama, Governor Brown, Pelosi, Feinstein, Boxer and the US Fed, After Being Down 54% Due to Financial Meltdown

I found 398 California Headquartered Companies in Yahoo's superb Finance website with current Total Market Capitalizations of at least $100 mil and which also had their common stocks trading on each of the following three dates:
  • On December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second term
  • On March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the lowest point for the US stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the 2008 financial meltdown, and
  • also on the most recent date February 26, 2014
I also included below the 6 California Companies which were sold since June 2013.  And I also included below 2 California Companies which had their common stock first start trading in the first quarter of 2008.  That makes 406 California Companies.

A handful of these 406 California Companies are legally headquartered overseas but with very substantial operations in California.

The historical stock prices of these companies were obtained from the following two excellent internet resources....  Google Finance and MarketWatch Big Charts.

These 406 California Companies had their equally-company-weighted average stock market prices decline by a massive 54% from December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second Presidential term, to March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the very lowest point for the overall stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the disastrous 2008 Financial Meltdown.

But in the slightly less than five years since March 6, 2009, the equally-company-weighted average stock market prices of these same 406 California Companies have increased by a very impressive 472% through today February 26, 2014.

The 204 San Francisco Bay Area including Silicon Valley Companies had an average stock market price increase in the roughly 5 year period from March 6, 2009 to February 26, 2014 of a spectacular 549%.

The 141 Los Angeles Area Companies registered an average stock market price increase in the roughly 5 year period from March 6, 2009 to February 26, 2014 of a very impressive 418%.

The 46 San Diego Area Companies posted an average stock market price increase in the roughly 5 year period from March 6, 2009 to February 26, 2014 of a very robust 372%.

The 13 Companies located in the rest of California had an average stock market price increase in the roughly 5 year period from March 6, 2009 to February 26, 2014 of a very respectable 223%.

Breaking down the 406 California Companies, the 156 Technology Companies had an average stock market price increase over the most recent 5 years of a very impressive 404%, the 83 Health Care Companies (predominantly Biotechnology Companies)  had an average stock market price increase of a spectacular 832%, the 68 Finance Companies had an average stock market price increase of a very robust 367%, the 54 Services Companies had an average stock market price increase of a very impressive 402%, and the 45 Other Sector Companies  had an average stock market price increase of a very respectable 283%.

Altogether there were 34 of these 406 California Companies which increased their stock market prices by more than 10 times in the roughly 5 year period from March 6, 2009 to February 26, 2014.  Of these 34, 15 were in the San Francisco Area, 14 in the LA Area and 5 in the San Diego Area.  And of these 34, 15 were in the Technology Sector, 9 in the Health Care Sector, 5 in the Finance Sector, 4 in the Services Sector and 1 in the Industrial Goods Sector.

Two Biotechnology Companies and one Technology Company were main contributors to the overall very impressive 472% average stock market price growth
  • Jazz Pharmaceuticals (up 260 times)
  • Pharmacyclics (up 169 times)
  • CalAmp (up 83 times).
Also being significant contributors to this overall 472% stock market price growth over roughly the most recent 5 years were the following 9 Companies which had stock market price increases of at least 20 times:
  • ACADIA Pharmaceuticals (up 36 times)
  • Entravision Communications (up 29 times)
  • Salem Communications (up 24 times)
  • KKR Financial Holdings (up 24 times)
  • On Assignment (up 23 times)
  • 8X8 (up 22 times)
  • Consumer Portfolio Services (up 22 times)
  • PDF Solutions (up 20 times)
  • BofI Holding (up 20 times)
To illustrate the operational consistency of these 406 California Companies, only 22 of them, or 5% of them, had stock market price declines since March 6, 2009.

California citizens should be extremely pleased with the outstanding performance of nearly all of their California Companies during the Obama Administration.

And frankly, with this incredible economic turnaround in such a huge State as California, coupled with how Technology is driving the worldwide economy and California clearly rules in Technology, I think it only makes sense that California Governor Jerry Brown should now be positioned pretty close to Hillary Clinton to be the 2016 Democratic Presidential Candidate.

This exceptional California economic turnaround when the State Governor is Democratic and both the State House and the State Senate are controlled by Democrats, points to how the US economy could also be substantially improved in a short period of time if the US Senate remains under Democratic control and if the US House changes to Democratic control, which would be a complete reversal from the unyielding gridlock in the US Congress of the past 3+ years.

Below here are the stock market prices of these 406 California Companies on February 26, 2014, on March 6, 2009, and on December 31, 2007, along with the related % Changes for these two periods of time, with all of this information sorted first by California Area and second by Sectors:
