Florida Company Average Stock Prices Up 409% Under Obama, Nelson, Wasserman Schultz, Castor and the US Fed, After Being Down 54% Due to Financial Meltdown

I found 89 Florida Headquartered Companies in Yahoo's superb Finance website with current Total Market Capitalizations of at least $100 mil and which also had their common stocks trading on each of the following three dates:
  • On December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second term
  • On March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the lowest point for the US stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the 2008 financial meltdown, and 
  • also on the most recent date February 24, 2014.
I also included below the 3 Florida Companies whose common stocks first began trading in the second half of 2008.  And I also included below the 4 Florida Companies which were sold since August 2012.  That makes 96 Florida Companies.

The historical stock prices of these companies were obtained from the following two excellent internet resources....  Google Finance and MarketWatch Big Charts.

These 96 Florida Companies had their equally-company-weighted average stock market prices decline by a massive 54% from December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second Presidential term, to March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the very lowest point for the overall stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the disastrous 2008 Financial Meltdown.

But in the slightly less than five years since March 6, 2009, the equally-company-weighted average stock market prices of these same 96 Florida Companies have increased by a very impressive 409% through February 24, 2014.

There were a very large number of 12 of the 96 Florida Companies with stock market price increases of at least 10 times since March 6, 2009, led by BFC Financial's stock market price advancing nearly 30 times.

Florida citizens should be very pleased with the outstanding performance of their Florida Companies during the Obama Administration.
