10 Largest US Specialized Health Services Corps Average Stock Prices Down 58% Due to Financial Meltdown Spillover Effects, Then Up 577% Under Obama and the US Fed

I found 10 US Specialized Health Services Corps classified in the Health Care Sector at Yahoo's superb Finance website with current Total Market Capitalizations of at least $100 mil each and which also had their common stocks trading on each of the following three dates :

  • On December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second term
  • On March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was their lowest point due to the spillover effects resulting from the 2008 financial meltdown, and
  • also on the most recent date February 6, 2014.

The historical common stock prices of these companies were obtained from the following two excellent internet resources....  Google Finance and MarketWatch Big Charts.

These 10 largest US Specialized Health Services Corps had their average stock prices drop by a huge 58% from December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second Presidential term, to March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the very lowest point for the overall stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the disastrous 2008 Financial Meltdown.

But in the slightly less than five years since March 6, 2009, the average stock prices of these same 10 US Specialized Health Services Corps have increased by a very impressive 577% through February 6, 2014, led by Acadia Healthcare's massive 2,255% stock price increase.  Acadia Healthcare develops and operates inpatient psychiatric facilities.  Two other of the 10 had stock price increases above 900%.  And the lowest stock price increase of the 10 was a healthy 87%.

Clearly, the investors in and employees of all of these 10 US Specialized Health Services Corps must be extremely pleased with the impact of actions taken by both the Obama Administration and the US Fed to successfully rescue the US economy from its extremely weakened state.

Also, these US Specialized Health Services Corps have flat out thrived under the Affordable Care Act.

Below here are the stock market prices of each of these 10 US Specialized Health Services Corps on February 6, 2014, on March 6, 2009, and on  December 31, 2007:
