The 102 Largest Ohio Companies Total Pretax Earnings Fell Off-the-Cliff, Declining By 99% in the First Half of 2020, Going From $23.7 Bil in the First Half of 2019 to Only a Mere $270 Mil in the First Half of 2020. The Trump Administration's Highly-Touted Strong US Economy Didn't Hit Ohio in the First Half of 2020.

From a review of Company SEC filings and the Google Finance website, I found 102 Ohio Companies with stock market caps of above $100 mil recently. Of these 102 Ohio Companies, 88 or 86% of them had June 2020 second quarter ends, 11 had July 2020 second quarter ends and 3 had May 2020 second quarter ends. 

The table below shows the Gold-Standard US GAAP Pretax Income (Loss) From Continuing Operations for the second and first quarters of both 2020 and 2019 for each of these 102 excellent Ohio Companies.

Washington State's Big Two Did Just Fine in the First Half of 2020 on the Pretax Earnings Front With Amazon's Up 115% in the 2Q of 2020 and With Microsoft's Up 7% in the 2Q of 2020 and Up 22% in the 1Q of 2020 ..... While the 31 Next Largest Washington State Companies Total Pretax Earnings Were Completely Down the Tubes ..... Declining By 253% in the 2Q of 2020 Which Was Even Substantially Worse Than Their 110% Decline in the 1Q of 2020. Other Than For Amazon and Microsoft, the Trump Administration's Highly-Touted Strong US Economy Hasn't Hit Washington State in the First Half of 2020.

From a review of Company SEC filings and the Google Finance website, I found 33 Washington State Companies with stock market caps of above $1 bil in mid-June 2020.  Of these 33 Washington State Companies, 29 or 88% of them had June 2020 second quarter ends, 2 had July 2020 second quarter ends and 2 had May 2020 second quarter ends.
