Ohio Company Average Stock Prices Up 574% Under Obama, US Senator Brown and the US Fed, After Being Down 59% Due to Financial Meltdown

I found 104 Ohio Headquartered Companies in Yahoo's superb Finance website with current Total Market Capitalizations of at least $100 mil and which also had their common stocks trading on each of the following three dates:
  • On December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second term
  • On March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the lowest point for the US stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the 2008 financial meltdown, and 
  • also on the most recent date February 21, 2014.
The historical stock prices of these companies were obtained from the following two excellent internet resources....  Google Finance and MarketWatch Big Charts.

These 104 Ohio Companies had their equally-company-weighted average stock market prices decline by a massive 59% from December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second Presidential term, to March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the very lowest point for the overall stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the disastrous 2008 Financial Meltdown.

But in the slightly less than five years since March 6, 2009, the equally-company-weighted average stock market prices of these same 104 Ohio Companies have increased by a spectacular 574% through February 21, 2014.

To illustrate the incredible operating consistency of these 104 Ohio Companies, all of them had stock market price increases since March 6, 2009.

The stick-out outperformer here was Auto Supplier Dana Holding, whose stock market price has increased an amazing 92 times since March 6, 2009.  There were an additional 5 Ohio Companies with stock price increases of more than 23 times.  And altogether, there were a huge number of 15 Ohio Companies with stock market price increases of more than 10 times since March 6, 2009.  And 2 more just barely missed 10 times stock market price appreciation. 

Ohio citizens must be just elated with the outstanding performance of these Ohio Companies during the Obama Administration.
