New York 91 Largest Company Audited Profits For 2013 and 2012 Combined Up 1,083% Over Two Years 2009 and 2008 Combined

Since the US Senate Races deciding who will get control of the US Senate are really heating up and many of them appear to be tossups and also since many of the key US Senate fundraisers are planned to be held in the New York Metro Area, I think it would be helpful to research how the 91 New York State Headquartered Companies with Market Capitalizations now of at least $3 bil each and with annual audited financial statements filed with the SEC covering all years from 2008 to 2013 have done on the earnings front before, during and after the late 2008 financial meltdown..

The Total Audited Net Income from Continuing Operations of these 91 largest New York Companies for the 2 Most Recent Years 2012 and 2013  combined totaled $357.3 bil, up an incredibly off-the-charts 1,083% as compared with the Total Audited Net Losses from Continuing Operations for the 2 Years 2008 and 2009 combined of  $36.3 bil.....yeah, that's a Two Year Total Profit Improvement of a phenomenally off-the charts $394 bil.  Whew!  It's pretty clear that the many smart New Yorkers have to be extremely pleased with the Obama Administration, the US Fed and the Democratically controlled US Senate.

In addition, the Total Audited Earnings of these 91 largest New York Companies in 2013 of $194.9 bil were up 42% over the comparable earnings in 2007 of $136.8 bil, which was the peak year earnings before the disastrous effects of the 2008 financial meltdown hit......these 91 largest New York Companies not only recouped the earnings they lost with the disastrous 2018 financial meltdown, but they also added another 42% of earnings.   

This incredibly off-the-charts earnings resurrection for these 91 largest New York Companies from 2008 and 2009 to the most recent 2013 occurred when the US Senate was under Democratic control, when Barack Obama was US President and when the US Federal Reserve was headed by two brilliant Chairpersons.  The US financial meltdown occurred in late 2008 when George W. Bush was US President.

Given the above annual earnings history, it only makes sense to me that the earnings in the next two years of New York Companies, and also frankly of all US Companies in all US States, have a much better chance of being much higher under a US Senate controlled by the Democrats than one controlled by the Republicans.  I think the many smart New York people have already figured all of this out.  And the economic beneficiaries of a US Senate controlled by the Democrats will also be the many US customers all over the US and all over the world of these astute New York Companies.

Below here are the Audited Net Income (Losses) of each of these 91 largest New York Companies for each of the following six years: 2013, 2012, 2011, 2009, 2008 and 2007:
