The US Bureau of Labor reported that the unemployment rate for the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area has dropped precipitously from 11.3% for the 2011 Average to only 5.5% in the most recently reported March 2015.
