- On December 31, 2007, or early in 2008 for companies first going public then, both before the financial meltdown hit
- On March 6, 2009, which was the lowest point for the US stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the 2008 financial meltdown, and
- also on the most recent date May 19, 2015, or the date the Companies were sold, if they were sold since the beginning of 2014
These 78 Massachusetts Technology and Health Care Companies had their equal-company weighted average stock market prices decline by 53% from December 31, 2007 before the 2008 Financial Meltdown hit to March 6, 2009, which was the very lowest point for the overall stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the disastrous 2008 Financial Meltdown.
But in the six years and two months since March 6, 2009 through the most recent date May 19, 2015, the average stock market prices of these same 78 Massachusetts Technology and Health Care Companies have increased by a very impressive 521%.
Also, as the prospects for passage of Free Trade Agreements have improved, the stock market prices of many of the large number of Massachusetts Multi-National Technology and Health Care Companies have increased sharply.
Just in the most recent two months, the average stock market price growth since March 6, 2009 of these Massachusetts Technology and Health Care Companies has increased from 491% to 521%.
And just in the most recent seven months, the average stock market price growth since March 6, 2009 of these Massachusetts Technology and Health Care Companies has increased from 371% to 521%. Now that is what I call smoking-hot improved growth.
There has been something upwardly explosive happening with the Massachusetts Technology and Health Care Companies Stock Market Prices since the 2008/2009 US Financial Meltdown, and particularly so in the most recent seven months, and among others, President Obama, Former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, Massachusetts US Senators Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey, and Massachusetts US Democratic House Members Richard Neal, James McGovern, Niki Tsongas, Joseph Kennedy, Katherine Clark, Seth Moulton, Michael Capuano, Stephen Lynch and William Keating have all undoubtedly helped here.
Charismatic Massachusetts US Senator Elizabeth Warren has done an exceptional job making the Trade Promotion Agreement Substantially Fairer to US Workers .... it is a massive improvement from US President Bill Clinton's NAFTA.
Even though Elizabeth Warren will be voting against the final Free Trade Package, she still has substantially helped US Workers here. And by these actions here as well as all of her many other noteworthy actions on behalf of the middle and lower US economic classes, she has demonstrated that along with Bernie Sanders she is the true Income Inequality Narrowing Champion.
I think there are three main issues that will decide the 2016 Presidential election.
First, you can't be tarnished by your myopic vote for the Iraq war. And you also need a visionary plan to substantially improve the tattered status of the US in the Middle East.
Second, you have to have visionary, highly effective Income Inequality Narrowing ideas.
And third, you have to have a very high energy level, be charismatic and have strong leadership skills.
I can think of no one coming close to possessing all of these three more than Elizabeth Warren. Let's hope she decides to run.
Below here are the 78 Massachusetts Headquartered Technology and Health Care Companies with Stock Market Caps now of at least $100 mil and which have had their common stocks trading from December 31, 2007, or early in 2008 for companies first going public then, through the most recent date May 19, 2015, or the date the Companies were sold, if they were sold since the beginning of 2014, along with the related Stock Market Price Percentage Changes.
