US Corps With Market Caps Above $40 Bil Total US GAAP Earnings Up 1% in 3Q 2016 Over 3Q 2015, a Positive Earnings Reversal vs 1st Half 2016 Total Earnings Being Down 3% From the First Half 2015 ..... Excluding Both All Oil & Gas Companies and Mondelez, Which Had a $7 Bil Divestiture Gain in 3Q 2015, 3Q 2016 Total Earnings Were Up 4% and Were Up 6% on an EPS Basis ..... 4Q 2016 Total Earnings Should Be Up More Than 10% Over 4Q 2015 and Also Up More Than 10% in Each of the First 3Qs of 2017, With All 4Qs Getting a Nice Boost From Favorable Oil & Gas Companies Earnings Comparisons: This Is What Is Driving the Overall US Stock Market To Record Highs ..... The Trump Effects Are Just Reclasses Among Sectors and Company Sizes ..... Apple, Alphabet, Facebook, Amazon and Many Other Great Companies Stocks Got Crushed ..... Among Others, Financial Stocks (Little Regulation) and Russell Small Stocks Have Both Spiked Up Dramatically

From a review of the very fine Google Finance Website and of company financial statements in the US SEC website, I found the 122 largest Companies headquartered in the US with Stock Market Capitalizations now of more than $40 Bil.

Below here are the total reported US GAAP Earnings (Losses) From Continuing Operations for the Calendar 3Q of both 2016 and 2015 of these 122 US Companies with Market Caps now of more than $40 Bil.  The Oil & Gas Companies are shown separately.  So is Mondelez Intl since it had a massive $7 bil Divestiture Gain in the 3Q 2015.  The Earnings are presented in Company Current Stock Market Capitalization order:
