If US House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and US Senate Democratic Leaders Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer would have all three voted against the $622 Bil very country-dividing PATH ACT of 2015, which overwhelmingly favored the largest, most profitable US Corporations and also favored the already very well-heeled US wealthy, and at the same time, harmed the US middle and lower income non-college-educated whites, especially in the rural Midwest, and also severely harmed the so many publicly-held US Corporations generating Losses, which represent more than half of all publicly-held US Corporations, and they had also taken many US House and Senate Members with them, I think that Hillary Clinton would have easily won the Electoral Vote and the US Presidency.
The last thing Democrats should want is to retain as US House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and to select as the US Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who both voted for and very strongly advocated for the very country-divisive PACT ACT of 2015, which by its passage effectively resulted in many battleground US States, including among others Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Carolina and Florida, voting against Hillary Clinton in the US Presidential election.
Nancy Pelosi was a great leader in the past, but at her current very advanced age, she no longer is.
Chuck Schumer has never been a great leader, only a Big New York Corp enabler, and there was no better illustration of this than in the $622 Bil of tax goodies PACT ACT of 2015, where his New York Big Corps, especially JPMorgan Chase, made out like bandits, but simultaneously cost Hillary Clinton the Presidential election.
If the Democratic Congress Member leading the US House is from San Francisco, California and the one leading the US Senate is from New York, New York, then you have a formula for the even further collapse of the Democratic Party. It does no good to win even more votes in California and in New York. To win the US Presidency and control of the US Senate and the US House, you need to get a lot more votes in the other 48 US States. Thus for political success, both the US Senate and the US House need to be led by someone outside of New York and California.
Republicans are again outsmarting Democrats here by having as their leaders one from Wisconsin and one from Kentucky, both not even close to being large US States.
For the best of all US Citizens, when there is congressional legislation offered which has a substantial amount of financial/economic impact, the best option is to consult with Maxine Waters, who has more financial/economic expertise than anyone else in the US Congress.....in both the US House and US Senate. If that would have happened on the PATH ACT of 2015 vote, Hillary Clinton would now be US President.
