1st 2 Months 2014 US IPOs: All 27 Up 28%, 10 Biotechs Up 42% and 4 Other Health Care Up 39% Under Obama, Democratic US Senate and the US Fed

With the superb Initial Public Offering (IPO) data available from IPO Scoop, there were 27 US Company IPOs in the first two months of 2014, where the Company has its common stock still trading now and it also has a Market Capitalization of more than $100 mil presently.  These 27 US Company IPOs in the first two months of 2014 were up in number an incredibly high 69% over the 16 similar US Company IPOs in the first two months of 2013.

The historical stock prices of these companies were obtained from the following two excellent internet resources....  Google Finance and MarketWatch Big Charts.  The superb Yahoo Finance website was also utilized heavily.

Of these 27 US IPOs in only the first two months of 2014, 10 are Biotechs, 4 are Health Care other than Biotechs, only 1 is Technology, 4 are Oil & Gas, 3 are Financials, 3 are Industrial Goods and 2 are in Other Sectors.

These 27 US Companies with IPOs in the first two months of 2014 posted an average stock market price increase of an incredibly off-the-charts 28% in the extremely short period of time from the end of the first day the Company's common stock started trading through March 11, 2014.  As a comparison, the S&P 500 Index is up only 1% from the December 31, 2013 to March 11, 2014.

The Health Care Sector again led the stock price appreciation upward explosion.

The 10 US Biotechs with IPOs in just the first two months of 2014 had an average stock market price increase of a spectacularly off-the-charts 42% in the extremely short period of time through March 11, 2014.  Whew!

Incredibly, 8 of the 10 Biotechs had stock market price appreciation above 30% for the extremely short period of time in 2014 through March 11, 2014.  Another Whew!

Two of the Biotechs.....GlycoMimetics and Genocea Biosciences.....had stock market price appreciation of at least 80% in this very short period of time through March 11, 2014.

There were 30 US Biotech IPOs for all of 2013, but only 1 in the first two months of 2013.....versus 10 in the first two months of 2014.  With this incredible stock price appreciation, it is easy to see why.

The 4 Health Care Companies other than the 10 US Biotechs with IPOs in just the first two months of 2014 had an average stock market price increase which was also a spectacularly off-the-charts 39% in the extremely short period of time through March 11, 2014.  Auspex Pharmaceuticals had stock market price appreciation of 91%, which was even higher than that of any of the 10 Biotechs.  And the worst performer of the 4 had a very impressive stock market price appreciation of 10% for this extremely short period of time.

Yeah, Obamacare is just killing Health Care Companies.  Give me a break!

The 3 US Industrial Goods Companies.....all 3 connected with the Construction Industry.....with IPOs in just the first two months of 2014 had an average stock market price increase of an exceptional 23% in the extremely short period of time through March 11, 2014.

The 4 US Oil & Gas Companies with IPOs in just the first two months of 2014 had an average stock market price increase of an very impressive 14% in the extremely short period of time through March 11, 2014.  Yeah, that's up 14% versus the S&P 500 Index being up only 1% so far this year through March 11, 2014.

There were even two Companies in Other Sectors filing IPOs and having exceptional stock price appreciation through March 11, 2014..... Malibu Boats up 25% and Intrawest Resorts up 17%.

Yeah, Obama is the IPO President.  I think he should consider fundraising every month for US Senate Candidates with the Biotech Industry and smart people who have invested in Biotech Stocks....but not campaign for the US House, until it cleans House.....some of these DCCC people and some of the local Democratic Party people at the House District level are just so incompetent.....if you give them money, you are just throwing your money away.

It's easy for me to see why the Democrats don't have control of the US House.  Redistricting is a minor reason compared to the utter incompetence of some of the DCCC and some of the local Democratic Party people at the District level.

If a well-run US business has an employee in a very key position and that person is continually making mistakes that are seriously harming the business, then it logically replaces him.

But not the Democrats.  They permit the loyal, nice but clearly incompetent employee to remain in his very key job that is seriously harming both the Democratic Party and the country.  It's a crazy but also a losing strategy and explains why a superb past Speaker of the House like Nancy Pelosi hasn't been the Speaker of the House for a long time.  And she won't be until the Democratic Party does the right thing and replace all of these incompetent people at both the DCCC and in key leadership positions in many local Democratic Districts.  Just sayin.
