New York Metro Area Largest Non-Financial Companies 2014 Audited Earnings Up 6 Times Over 2008 ... Smaller Ones Up 19 Times ... Driven In Part By Barack Obama and Ben Bernanke

From a very thorough review of SEC filings, I found a large number of 90 Non-Financial Companies headquartered in the New York City Metro Area with Stock Market Capitalizations now of at least $1 bil, or the equivalent for non-publicly-held firms, and which have filed 2014 financial statements with the SEC.

So just how have these 90 largest Non-Financial New York Metro Area Companies done on the earnings front since the 2008 US financial meltdown?  Just absolutely great earnings improvement.

The Total Audited Net Income from Continuing Operations of these 90 largest Non-Financial New York Metro Area Companies for 2014 was a huge $83.825 bil, an increase of 623% as compared with the $11.587 bil earned in the 2008 US Financial Meltdown year.

The smaller New York Non-Financial Companies did even better.  The 73 Non-Financial New York City Metro Area Companies with Market Caps of between $1 bil and $20 bil generated Total Audited Earnings of $12.733 bil in 2014, up 1,943% over the comparable 2008 Loss of $0.691 bil.

There has been something upwardly explosive happening with the Audited Earnings of Non-Financial New York Metro Area Companies since the 2008 Financial Meltdown and among others, President Obama and former US Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke both played instrumental roles in this massive earnings improvement.

Below here are the reported US GAAP Audited Net Income (Losses) of each of  these 90 largest Non-Financial New York Metro Area Companies for all of their fiscal years reported from 2008 through 2014, sorted by Market Capitalization:
