Connecticut Smaller Companies 2014 and 2013 Two Year Audited Earnings Up 15 Times Over 2009 and 2008 ..... Driven In Part By President Obama, Connecticut Democratic US Senators Richard Blumenthal and Christopher Murphy, Connecticut Democrats in the US House, Governor Dannel Malloy and the US Fed

From a very thorough review of SEC filings, I found 42 Companies headquartered in the State of Connecticut with Stock Market Capitalizations now of more than $1 bil and with 2014 Audited Financial Statements filed with the SEC.

Eight of these 42 Connecticut Companies have Stock Market Capitalizations now of more than $27 bil.  Of these 8, two of them have Market Caps of more than $100 bil.

There are 34 Somewhat Smaller Connecticut Companies with Stock Market Capitalizations now of between $1 bil and $20 bil.

So just how have the 34 Somewhat Smaller Connecticut Companies done on the earnings front before, during and after the 2008 financial meltdown?  Just incredibly well earnings improvement.

The Total Audited Net Income from Continuing Operations of these 34 Somewhat Smaller Connecticut Companies for the 2 years 2014 and 2013 Combined was $20.890 bil, an increase of an exceptional 1,577% over the $1.246 bil comparable Total Earnings in the 2 years 2009 and 2008 Combined.

So if the question to answer is how much better off are these Somewhat Smaller Connecticut Companies now than they were during their 2008/2009 financial meltdown fiscal years, the answer is more than 15 times better, or $19.6 bil better, as audited earnings under US generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP) are measured by the very prestigious US accounting profession.

There has been something upwardly explosive happening with the Audited Earnings of Connecticut Somewhat Smaller Companies and among others, President Obama, Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy, Connecticut US Senators Richard Blumenthal anf Christopher Murphy, Connecticut Democratic US House Members John Larson, Joe Courtney, Rosa DeLauro, Jim Himes and Elizabeth Esty, and the US Fed have all undoubtedly helped here.

Below here are the reported US GAAP Audited Net Income (Losses) of each of  these 34 Somewhat Smaller Connecticut Companies for all of their fiscal years reported from 2008 through 2014:
