Missouri Corps Stock Prices Up 127% Since President Obama Took Office

From a review of SEC filings, I found 33 Corps headquartered in the State of Missouri which generated Audited After-Tax Net Income or Net Loss of at least $100 mil each in any of the five years from 2007 to 2011,  and which also had their common stock trading on both January 16, 2009, which is the last day stocks traded before President Obama took office, and also yesterday, August 26, 2013.  Included in these 33 Corps is one which had its common stock first trading in 2010 and also one which was acquired in 2012.  Also included in these 33 Corps are two foreign corps with substantial operations in Missouri.

These 33 Missouri Corps had their average stock prices increase by 127% from January 16, 2009 to August 26, 2013.  This 127% increase is 1.3 times the 95% increase in the S&P 500 Index over the same time span.

There were 9 of these Missouri Corps headquartered in Kansas City, which experienced an impressive 144% average increase in stock market performance during the Obama Administration.  In comparison, there were a much higher 21 of them headquartered in the St. Louis Metro Area which experienced a somewhat less 108% average increase in stock market performance.

Three of the five worst-performing Missouri Corps were in the troubled coal industry, putting downward pressure on Missouri's overall average stock price increase.

Below here are the common stock market closing prices of each of these 33 Missouri Corps at both the most recent date (August 26, 2013) and also at the date just before President Obama took office in his first term (Jan 16, 2009), as well as the percentage stock market price changes for this period of time:
