Georgia Corp Stock Prices Up 215% Since President Obama Took Office, With Major Help From Atlanta Mayor Reed

From a review of SEC filings, I found 40 Corps headquartered in the State of Georgia, with externally audited under US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) After-tax Net Income or Net Loss of at least $100 mil in any of the most recent five fiscal years. and which also had their common stock trading on both January 16, 2009, which is the last day stocks traded before President Obama took office, and also on yesterday, August 13, 2013.

These 40 Georgia Corps had their average stock prices increase by 215% from January 16, 2009 to the close yesterday, Aug 13, 2013.  And this 215% increase is more than double the 99% increase in the S&P 500 Index over the identical time span.

Georgia citizens have to be extremely happy with the overall stock market performance of their superb Georgia Companies during the Obama Administration.

But just why are the Georgia Corps outperforming those in so many other US States?

Well, when you look at the list of 40 Georgia Corps, nearly all of them are headquartered in the Atlanta metropolitan area.  And Atlanta mayor Kasim Reed has been a very effective advocate for all Atlanta area businesses.  And so has US Representative John Lewis.

But also, Georgia's two US Senators.....Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss.....have both worked hard for all Georgia businesses.

Thus, it only makes sense that very patriotic Senator Isakson has stepped up to be part of the "The Diners Club", a group of 8 of the savviest Republican Senators who have decided to work with the Obama Administration to help solve the country's fiscal problems.

I do think that one thing that nearly everyone has missed is how the massive increase in the US stock market has had a substantial downward impact on the annual deficits of the US Government.  I'll make a prediction.....If the US stock market continues on its present upward path, the annual US Government deficit in the last year of the Obama Administration will be less than $100 bil.  It will have nothing to do with austerity, and all to do with a robust US economy, hopefully one where all boats rise, not just the yachts.

Below here are the common stock market closing prices of each of these 40 Georgia Corps at both the most recent date (August 13, 2013) and also at the date just before President Obama took office in his first term (Jan 16, 2009), as well as the percentage stock market price changes for this period of time:
