Indiana Corp Stock Prices Up 193% Since President Obama Took Office, With Major Help From Indiana US Senators

From a review of SEC filings, I found 50 Non-Utility Corps headquartered in the State of Indiana, which generated Core, Ongoing Pretax Income or Pretax Loss of at least $5 mil each in any of the first three years of the Obama Administration (2009, 2010 or 2011), and which also had their common stock trading on both January 16, 2009, which is the last day stocks traded before President Obama took office, or very shortly thereafter, and also on yesterday, August 13, 2013.

These 50 Indiana Corps had their average stock prices increase by 193% from January 16, 2009 to the close yesterday, Aug 13, 2013.  And this 193% increase is nearly double the 99% increase in the S&P 500 Index over the same time span.

Yeah, an 193% average increase over just more than four and a half years is pretty cool.  Man that's success not that short of Tom Crean's success with IU basketball.  Indiana citizens have to be extremely happy with the overall stock market performance of their superb Indiana Companies during the Obama Administration.

But it wasn't just the Obama Administration.  It's all four US Senators, two Democrats and two Republicans.....Joe Donnelly, Evan Bayh, Dick Lugar and Dan Coats.....who have all worked hard and effectively to advance the success of all Indiana businesses.

It only makes sense that Dick Lugar was recently chosen as a Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient.

And it also only makes sense that patriotic Senator Coats has stepped up to be part of the "The Diners Club", a group of 8 of the savviest Republican Senators who have decided to work with the Obama Administration to help solve the country's fiscal problems.

And the effectiveness of the US House during the first two years of the Obama Administration, when most of this Indiana Corp stock price appreciation occurred, also played an instrumental role here.  US House Congressmen then like Brad Ellsworth, Baron Hill, Joe Donnelly and others all made major contributions to the success of Indiana businesses.

I do think that one thing that nearly everyone including the CBO in its budget projections has missed is how the massive increase in the US stock market has had, and will continue to have, a substantial downward impact on the annual deficits of the US Government.  I'll make a prediction.....If the US stock market continues on its present upward path, the annual US Government deficit in the last year of the Obama Administration will be less than $100 bil.  It will have nothing to do with austerity, and all to do with a robust US economy, hopefully one where all boats rise, not just the yachts.

Below here are the common stock market closing prices of each of these 50 Indiana Corps at both the most recent date (August 13, 2013) and also at the date just before President Obama took office in his first term (Jan 16, 2009), as well as the percentage stock market price changes for this period of time:
