Hawaii Three Largest Corps 2011 Annual Earnings

The three largest corporations I found, which are headquartered in Hawaii, and which file with the SEC, are a bank, an air transportation company, and a water transportation company.

The 2011 Pretax Income below of Air Transportation company Hawaiian Holdings excludes a large Lease Termination Charge.

Hawaiian Holdings 2011 earnings were negatively impacted by fuel costs, which were $190 mil higher than that in 2010.

Like so many other US banks, the Bank of Hawaii’s earnings in 2008 and 2009 were not severely damaged by the devastating financial meltdown.

Below is the Pretax Income (PTI) or Pretax Loss (PTL) of these three Hawaiian corporations for each of the most recent three years.
