General Motors North America Automotive US GAAP Income Before Interest and Income Taxes Was $44.883 Bil For the Four Years 2015-2018, Up 9,290% or Up 93 TIMES From the Comparable Earnings of $0.478 Bil For the Four Years 2011-2014. Granted CEO Mary Barra Played a Key Role in This Miraculous Earnings Recovery Here But So Did All GM North America Workers, Who Were Firing on All Cylinders.

General Motors filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in 2009 and reorganized with US Treasury backing as a new entity in 2010.

From Segment Footnotes in the new entity General Motors Annual 10-K filings with the US SEC, the North America segment of the new General Motors (GMNA) generated the Gold-Standard US GAAP Income Before Interest and Income Taxes of only $0.478 Bil in the Four Years 2011-2014 Combined.

But then things got really cooking with GMNA generating Gold-Standard US GAAP Income Before Interest and Income Taxes of $44.883 Bil in the next Four Years 2015-18 Combined, nearly 94 TIMES the comparable earnings of $0.478 Bil in the Four Years 2011-2014 Combined.

To give nearly all the fruits here to GM Executives and giving GMNA workers peanuts is not playing fair.

We lived in the Detroit area at the time and Chuck Daley was a great coach but the Detroit Pistons truly BAD BOYS Bill Laimbier, Dennis Rodman and  Rick Mahorn and the Not So Bad Boys Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, Adrian Dantley, Vinnie Johnson, Mark Aguirre and John Salley were the primary reasons for these Detroit Pistons teams performing so superbly on a consistent basis.  The same applies to GMNA workers, who were firing on all cylinders.
