On October 31, 2014, the average stock market prices of the Oklahoma Companies, the clear majority of which are Oil & Gas Companies, had increased 365% from March 6, 2009. On the most recent date March 13, 2015, this average stock market price increase from March 6, 2009, six years ago, for these Oklahoma Companies, the clear majority of which are Oil & Gas Companies, had dropped precipitously to 311%.
I would find it hard to believe that the US Federal Reserve would contemplate raising interest rates when you have the key Oil & Gas Industry, especially the smaller Oil & Gas Companies which are growing like weeds given so many larger ones imploding, being devastated financially like they clearly are presently.....and also when you have the very significant economic spillover effects to the many Texas Non-Oil & Gas Companies that has occurred in the past four and a half months. Also, from my stock pricing, I can see that many small and medium-sized Oil & Gas Companies in US States other than Texas and Oklahoma have also experienced their stock market prices flat-out collapsing in the most recent four and a half months.
And lastly, the Accounting Reported Earnings of the Companies in the Oklahoma and Texas Oil & Gas Industry will have to be dropping precipitously in 2015 given the Asset Impairment Losses Under the Ceiling Test that must be reported under US generally accepted accounting principles if oil and natural gas prices stay so low.
Below here are the 23 Oklahoma Headquartered Companies with Stock Market Caps now above $100 mil and which have had their common stocks trading from December 31, 2007, or early in 2008 for companies first going public then, through the most recent date March 13, 2015, or the date the Companies were sold, if they were sold since the beginning of 2014.
