San Francisco Bay/Silicon Valley Area Non-Technology Companies Performed Substantially Better on the Audited Pretax Earnings Growth Front During Obama/Biden's Eight Years in Office (Up 5% Per Year) Than They Did During Trump/Pence's First Three Years in Office (Down 11% Per Year). Excluding Big Oil Giant Chevron, These Non-Technology Companies Earnings Increased By an Off-the Charts 93% Per Year During Obama/Biden's Eight Years in Office, While Decreasing By 14% Per Year During Trump/Pence's First Three Years in Office.

From a review of SEC filings and Google Finance, there were 59 San Francisco Bay/Silicon Valley Area Non-Technology Companies with stock market caps recently of above $1 bil and which reported Pretax Income (Loss) From Continuing Operations in their annual financial statement earnings information filed with the SEC for each of the most recent twelve years (Fiscal Years from 2008-2019).  Non-Technology Companies enacting Company Separations which caused  lack of earnings comparability were excluded below.

The table below shows the Pretax Income (Loss) From Continuing Operations for each of these 59 Non-Technology Companies for fiscal year end 2019, the last year of the Donald Trump/Mike Pence's first three full years in office so far,  for fiscal year end 2016, the year before the start of the Donald Trump/Mike Pence Administration as well as also the last year of the Barack Obama/Joe Biden Administration, and for fiscal year end 2008, the year before the start of the Barack Obama/Joe Biden Administration.
