Nearly all Republicans, a high percentage of Independents and even many perceptive Democrats all agree as a starting point that for US capitalism to work properly, Companies must generate in the aggregate reasonably healthy profits.
Unfortunately, these 52 Indiana Companies did not achieve healthy profits while Mike Braun served in the Indiana House of Representatives.
In FYE 2017, these 52 Indiana Companies posted Audited Gold-Standard US GAAP Total After-Tax Net Income From Continuing Operations of $13.210 bil, which was an increase of only 7% from their FYE 2014 comparable Net Income of $12.319 bil. That comes to an average of a meager 2.4% earnings growth per year.
As a comparison, 48 of these 52 Indiana Companies filed with the SEC in 2008 and posted Audited Gold-Standard US GAAP Total After-Tax Net Income From Continuing Operations of $10.155 bil in FYE 2009, which was a one-year increase of 531% from their comparable Net Income of $1.609 bil in FYE 2008. Joe Donnelly was serving in the US House of Representatives when this remarkable feat was achieved by these fine Indiana Companies.
