These 11 Health Insurance Corps had an average stock price increase of an off-the-charts 245% since President Obama took office. And these 9 Hospital and Health Care Related Services Corps had an average stock price increase of an even more off-the-charts 305% since President Obama took office.
In this post I turn my attention to all Other US Health Care Corps. I found a huge number of 100 Other Health Care Corps which file their financial statements with the SEC, which had Pretax Income or Loss of more than $100 mil in any of the first three years of the Obama Administration (2009, 2010 or 2011) and which had their common stock trading on both January 16, 2009 which was the last day stocks were trading before President Obama took office or had their common stock first start trading in 2009 and also had their stock trading now or were acquired in the past 12 months. I excluded all Health Care Corps in the development stage or with minor amounts of Revenues.
These 100 Other Health Care Corps had an average stock price increase of an even more off-the-charts 314% since President Obama took office. This is 2.7 times the 117% increase in the S&P 500 Index over the same time period. And only 2 of these 100 Corps had stock price declines so far during the Obama Administration.
The Stock Market is much smarter than any Democrat, any Republican or any Independent either in the US Congress or in the Obama Administration. And it is pretty clear that the very perceptive Stock Market is signaling that nearly all Health Care Corps are and will continue to do extremely well under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). And the Stock Market is also signaling that the ACA has been working quite effectively and will continue to work very well in the future.
Below here are the common stock prices for each of these 100 Other Health Care Corps on yesterday December 31, 2013 or when the company was acquired and also on January 16, 2009 or the first day the stock started trading in early 2009.

One thing that absolutely sticks out here are the incredible stock price increases in the Drug Subsectors other than Big Pharma.
The 26 Other Large Drug Companies had an average stock price increase of 676% and even when I exclude Jazz Pharmaceuticals' outsized stock price increase, the 25 Other Large Drug Companies had a still off-the-charts 317% average stock price increase so far during the Obama Administration.
The 5 Drug Wholesalers had an incredible 544% average stock price increase so far during the Obama Administration.
And the 5 Retail Drug and Proprietary Stores Companies had an off-the-charts 327% average stock price increase so far during the Obama Administration.
I find it interesting that so many in the US Congress, both Democrats and Republicans, are focusing on Further Huge Wealth Expanders like removing the tax on Medical Device Companies. Look at the incredibly robust across-the-board stock prices increases of the above Medical Device Companies. They are huge beneficiaries of the ACA. Just how much more do you want to give them?
And all drug companies.....Big Pharma, Other Large Drug Companies, Drug Wholesalers and Drug Retailers are massive beneficiaries of the ACA.
So how does the US Congress plan to deal with this? They want to cut the Medicare and Medicaid benefits of the middle and lower classes and they don't want to take a dime from these Drug Companies. They won't let US citizens buy drugs outside the US even though the drug prices are substantially lower. And they won't let Medicare negotiate prices with Drug Companies or with Medical Device Companies.
And about half of the US Congress are fighting intensely hand-in-hand with their State legislature brethren to keep US States from Expanding Medicaid.
And they let so many of the Big Non-Profit Hospital Organizations generate Bottom Line Earnings above 10% of their Revenues, while simultaneously letting these same hospitals charge these incredibly high patient charges.
And about half of the US Congress wants to reduce social security benefits of the middle and lower income retirees, while allowing the wealthy to treat as payroll tax-free all of their FICA wages above the income threshold.
And they have consistently given massive tax breaks to businesses without attaching US job-creation strings to them.
And to top it off, nearly half of the US Congress refuses to increase the federal minimum wage by a penny.
Let's all hope that there is a massive US Congressional turnover in November 2014. They have earned their sub 10% approval rating. They talk a big game, but they have enacted nothing to close the ever-expanding Income Inequality gap.
