These 13 US Beverage Companies had their average stock prices drop by a huge 44% from December 31, 2007 during President Bush's second Presidential term, to March 6, 2009, very early in President Obama's first term, which was the very lowest point for the overall stock market due to the spillover effects resulting from the disastrous 2008 Financial Meltdown.
But since March 6, 2009, the average stock prices of these same 13 US Beverage Corps have increased by very robust 445% through January 23, 2014.
Stratifying these Beverage Companies, the Brewing Corps clearly led the pack with an average stock market increase of 911%, followed by the Distillers & Wineries up 349% and the Soft Drinks Corps up 287%.
Clearly, the investors in and employees of these 13 US Beverage Companies must be very pleased with the impact of actions taken by both the Obama Administration and the US Fed to successfully rescue the US economy from its extremely weakened state caused by the 2008 US financial meltdown.
