(Post #1 of 2) Lowell, Arkansas-based J.B. Hunt Transport Services' Top-Tier Executives Average Annual Pay and Employee Benefits Increase Was an Off-the-Charts 88.6% Per Year During the Past Five Years

I have researched and made posts related to Top-Tier Executive Total Annual Compensation, a SEC-required disclosure in Company Proxy Statements, in most of the largest companies headquartered in the four earliest 2020 Democratic Primary States ..... Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina.

Also of the 14 Super Tuesday US States holding their 2020 Democratic Presidential Primaries on March 3, 2020, I made like posts related to most of the largest Companies in the following 11 US States ..... California, Texas, Massachusetts, Virginia, North Carolina, Minnesota, Tennessee,  Colorado, Vermont, Maine and Oklahoma.

Now I have just finished my research on Top-Tier Executive Total Compensation of  the nine largest Arkansas Companies, another Super Tuesday US State.

From annual compensation information contained in Proxy Statement filings with the US SEC, the chart below shows J.B. Hunt Transport Services' Top-Tier Executives Annual Total Compensation for each of the two consecutive full years of employment for the past five years.

J.B. Hunt Transport Services' Top-Tier Executives Average Annual Pay and Employee Benefits Increase was an off-the-charts 88.6% per year during the past five years, which is the highest  of the nine largest Arkansas Companies.

  1. J.B. Hunt Transport Services +88.6% per year for the past five years
  2. Tyson Foods +57.4% per year for the past ten years
  3. Simmons First National +33.5% per year for the past five years
  4. Axciom (now LiveRamp Holdings) +30.9% per year for the past five years
  5. Home Bancshares +29.2% per year for the past five years
  6. Murphy Oil +17.9% per year for the past ten years
  7. Bank OZK +16.5% per year for the past five years
  8. Murphy USA +10.1% per year for the past six years
  9. Walmart -0.7% per year for the past seven years
As you can see in the above table, Arkansas non-executive workers really had the deck stacked against them versus what is going on with the sky-high annual percentage pay raises of Arkansas' Top-Tier Executives.

So which 2020 Democratic Presidential candidate could best help close this massive annual percentage pay raise gap between Arkansas' Top-Tier executives and their non-executives employees?

More than anything needed to solve this thorny problem is to possess exceptionally strong financial and data science skills, coupled with a keen understanding of how businesses operate.

Well, that should rule out any Presidential candidate who worked for the US Government in the past ten years when these comparative pay raise results were so horrendous, not just in Arkansas but also in all other US States.

That would rule out Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar.

Of the Top Five Democratic Presidential candidates, that would leave only Pete Buttigieg.

I think there is only one Democratic Presidential candidate who has both the requisite financial acumen, data science skills and economic fairness to turn the tide around on this massive, continuing US income inequality expansion caused mainly by the massive gap in annual percentage pay raises between executive and non-executive employees  ....Pete Buttigieg.
