The huge auto giant FCA (Chrysler) US LLC has not yet reported its December 2015 financial statements with the SEC and thus it was not included with the above Michigan Companies with market caps above $5 Bil. Its earnings for the first nine months of 2015 reported to the SEC were $3.246 Bil, which was an off-the-charts SIX TIMES its earnings for the first nine months of 2014 of $0.540 Bil, thereby even topping Ford Motor's 499% annual earnings growth in 2015.
I have to wonder what the percentage increase in the workers pay in 2015 was for these Auto Giants? Where's the economic fairness? And have the union leaders of Ford Motor, Chrysler and General Motors informed the union members of the magnitude of the off-the-charts 2015 Earnings Increases of these three Auto Giants?
The massively off-the-charts 2015 Earnings Increases of these three Powerful, Wealthy Auto Giants when the workers driving these Earnings Increases are rewarded such meager amounts directly addresses Bernie Sanders' point about why Income Inequality keeps expanding. The Democratic and Republican Establishments say they are for the US auto worker, but by their actions, are focusing intensely only on the success of the Giant Auto Corporations. And the Earnings Numbers bear this fact out.
For Hillary Clinton to publicly state that Bernie Sanders was against the Auto Bailout shows just how dishonest she is. For the record, there was one stand alone US Senate vote for President Obama's Auto Bailout. Bernie Sanders enthusiastically voted for it and Hillary knows that.
Michigan voters are wise and won't be fooled by the purposely dishonest comment Hillary Clinton made here. It gets to the core of who she is as a person. Just like her husband Bill, she plays to win at all costs, even to go so far as to publicly lie to the audience in a critical debate that Bernie Sanders was against the Auto Bailout when she clearly knows that he enthusiastically was for it. Such dirty politics is similar to what the Republicans are constantly doing in their debate. Unlike Hillary, Bernie is flat-out authentic and totally honest.
