With such absolutely horrific losses, it is going to take a very long time for the US economy to recover and for the real US unemployment rate to drop below 10%.
Further, depending on US Government actions, the US Debt will grow by $7 trillion to $10 trillion this year and will continue to grow by $2.5 trillion to $3 trillion per year for many subsequent years.
Suffice it to say that we older people have really screwed the younger generation economically. They understand this completely and that is a main reason they are peacefully protesting so intensely and angrily and will continue doing so for a much longer time than the older people realize.
