With such absolutely horrific Oil & Gas Companies losses of $155 bil in the first half of 2020, it is going to take a very long time for the US economy to recover and for the US unemployment rate to drop down to a reasonable level.
Further, depending on US Government actions, the US Debt will grow by $7 trillion to $10 trillion this year and will continue to grow by $2.5 trillion to $3 trillion per year for many subsequent years.
Suffice it to say that we older people have really screwed the younger generation economically. They understand this completely and that is one of the main reasons they are peacefully protesting so intensely and angrily and will continue doing so for a much longer time than the older people realize.
