These 157 US REITS Generated 2Q 2017 Total Earnings of $8.242 Bil, Up 3% Over the $7.966 Bil Earned in the 2Q 2016 .......................................................................................Given the Incredible Popularity of US REITs and How They Have Energized the US Real Estate Industry, the US Should Consider Permitting Manufacturing Company Investment Trusts, Since Unlike REITs, They Would Also Dramatically Increase the Number of Good-Paying US Jobs ...................................................................................... To Be the Most Effective, These US Manufacturing Investment Trusts Should Probably Have an Annual Minimum Taxable Income Distribution Requirement of a Bit Less Than the 90% Minimum Required of US REITs ...................................................................................... So Just How Big a Deal Would Manufacturing Investment Trusts Be? Well, There Are 18,288 Manufacturing Company SEC Registrants in SEC SIC Codes 2000s-3900s and There Are Many Other Companies in Other SEC SIC Codes Performing Some Manufacturing ...................................................................................... And Privately-Held US Companies Performing Manufacturing Should Also Be Permitted To Form Manufacturing Investment Trusts

From a review of the Google Finance Website and of company financial statements in the US SEC website, I found the large number of 157 Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) headquartered in the US with Stock Market Capitalizations of more than $1 Bil very recently and which have filed their Calendar Second Quarter 2017 Financial Statements with the SEC. 

Below here are the Total Reported US GAAP Earnings (Losses) From Continuing Operations for the Second Calendar Quarters of both 2017 and 2016 for each of these 157 largest US REITs.
