The 70 Largest Dallas, Texas Area Companies Saw Their Total Pretax Earnings Decline By 79% or By $33.5 Bil in the First Half of 2020, Going From Total Pretax Earnings of $42.6 Bil in the First Half of 2019 Down to $9.1 Bil in the First Half of 2020

From a review of Company SEC filings and the Google Finance website, I found 70 Dallas, Texas Area Companies with stock market caps of above $1 bil in early June 2020. Of these 70 Dallas, Texas Area Companies, 11 were Oil & Gas Companies and 59 were Non-Oil & Gas Companies.

The table below shows the Gold-Standard US GAAP Pretax Income (Loss) From Continuing Operations for the second and first quarters of both 2020 and 2019 for each of these 70 excellent Dallas, Texas Area Companies.
