The 52 Largest Companies in the 6 Largest Cities in Ohio Total Pretax Earnings Declined By 92% in the First Half of 2020, Excluding P&G Which Recorded an $8.3 Bil Goodwill and Other Intangible Assets Impairment Charge in the Second Quarter of 2019. P&G Towers Over All Other Ohio Cos with a Stock Market Cap That is 79% of the Total Stock Market Caps of These 52 Largest Ohio Cos Combined.

From a review of Company SEC filings and the Google Finance website, I found 53 Ohio Companies with stock market caps of more than $100 mil and which are headquartered in one of the six Ohio Cities with the largest populations ..... Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Akron and Dayton.

The Total Pretax Income (TPTI) in the First Half of 2020 of the Companies in each of these six largest Ohio Cities:

  • Dayton Cos TPTI Declined By 825%
  • Akron Cos TPTI Declined By 265%
  • Toledo Cos TPTI Declined By 217%
  • Columbus Cos TPTI Declined By 60%
  • Cleveland Cos TPTI Declined By 38%
  • and Cincinnati Cos TPTI Declined By 129%, excluding Procter & Gamble
