Pfizer is the twelfth Dow Industrial Company I have researched on Top-Tier Executives Average Long-term % Pay Raises Per Year. Its 11.9% is significantly above fellow large drug company Pfizer's 8.5%.
Merck's Top-Tier Executive's Average Pay was $10.290 mil in 2018, roughly the same as Pfizer's $10.147 mil, but about half that of both JPMorgan Chase's $21.201 mil and Goldman Sachs's $20.046 mil. So just how do these people relatively contribute to society? I suggest health care drugs are substantially more critical to society than just moving money.
The US Government should pass wisely-designed Fair Pay Raise Income Inequality Narrowing tax incentives ..... the carrot ..... and wise tax disincentives ..... the stick.
The US Government should also require all US Corporate Boards to include at least one worker representative or else Income Inequality will never narrow.
I will continue this same research for many other large US Companies to get a better handle on just why the US has such massive continuing Income Inequality Expansion ..... it appears to be predominantly about the relative annual pay raise percentages.
