Tennessee Non-Profit & Publicly-held Hospitals Net Assets Up 5,596% Since 2008-2009 Year Ends

From a review of the Electronic Municipal Market Access (EMMA) and financial statements in SEC filings, I found 7 Non-Profit Hospital Organizations and 5 Publicly-held Hospital Companies all headquartered in the State of Tennessee with Net Assets (i.e. Financial Strength or Total Assets minus Total Liabilities) at the most recent date reported in 2013 of more than $400 mil each or a Net Deficit in Net Assets of more than $(400) mil each.

The renown Vanderbilt University Health Care Institutions are not included below since Vanderbilt University doesn't disclose the Net Assets of these separately.

Yeah, the Total Net Assets of these 12 Tennessee Headquartered Hospital Organizations increased from $0.221 bil roughly six years ago to a massive $12.588 bil presently.  This spectacularly off-the-charts 5,596% increase in these Tennessee Hospital Organizations Net Assets (Financial Strength) in the most recent period just short of six years is a substantial acceleration from the comparable just short of five and a half years 4,559% increase registered only six months ago.

To say that Fed Chairs Ben Bernanke, Janet Yellen and the Affordable Care Act have all been favorable to the Financial Strength of these Tennessee Headquartered Hospital Organizations is clearly an understatement indeed.
