Arkansas Company 2013 Audited Profits Excluding Walmart Up 320% Over 2009

Since the US Senate Race in Arkansas is really heating up, I think it would be helpful to research how the 16 Arkansas Headquartered Companies with Market Capitalizations now of at least $100 mil each and with annual audited financial statements filed with the SEC in 2013, in 2009 and in 2007 have done on the earnings front.

The Total Audited 2013 Net Income from Continuing Operations of the 15 Arkansas Companies other than the giant Walmart was $2,884 mil, an increase of a spectacular 320% from the comparable earnings of $687 mil in 2009, which was the very low point of annual corporate profits due to the late 2008 financial meltdown.

Walmart's 2013 Net Income of $15,918 mil, which is a massive 5.5 times the Total Net Income of the other above 15 Arkansas Companies combined, were up 10% over the comparable Walmart earnings in 2009.

This off-the-charts earnings recovery for these Arkansas Companies from 2009 to the most recent 2013 occurred when Mark Pryor was an Arkansas US Senator and also when Democrats had a majority in the US Senate.

In addition, the Total Audited Earnings of these 16 Arkansas Companies including Walmart in 2013 were up 25% over the comparable earnings in 2007, which was the peak year earnings before the disastrous effects of the 2008 financial meltdown hit......they not only recouped the earnings they lost with the financial meltdown, but they also added another 25% of earnings.

Below here are the Audited Net Income (Loss) From Continuing Operations for each of these 16 Arkansas Companies in 2013, in 2009 and in 2007, along with the related Net Income (Loss) Percentage Changes:
