The 13 Largest Utah Cos Saw Their Total Pretax Operating Income Decline By 18% in the 4Q of 2018 From the 4Q of 2017, After Increasing By 8% in the 3Q 2018

Since Utah is one of the 12 Super Tuesday US States Holding Their 2020 Democratic Presidential Early Primary on March 3, 2020, I Think It Might Be Helpful to Research Just How Utah Companies Have Performed Recently on the Pretax Operating Earnings Front

 From a review of SEC filings, I found 13 Utah Companies with stock markets caps of above $1 bil sometime in 2018 and which have reported a full quarter of earnings in the fourth quarter of 2018.  

The chart below shows the Gold-Standard US GAAP Pretax Operating Income (Loss) for the 4Q  and the 3Q of both 2018 and 2017 for each of these 13 Utah Companies.
