The Wisconsin Companies Away From the Milwaukee Area Underperformed on the Earnings Front in 2017, Trump's First Year in Office .......................................................................................

From a review of US SEC filings, I found 12 Wisconsin Companies all located outside of the Milwaukee area and all over the State with stock market caps of more than $1 Bil recently.

 These 12 Wisconsin Companies Posted Audited US GAAP Pretax Income From Continuing Operations in Fiscal Year Ended 2017 which increased by a meager 0.3% over that in the Fiscal Year Ended 2016.

 On the other hand, these  same 12 Wisconsin Companies Posted Audited US GAAP Pretax Income From Continuing Operations in Fiscal Year Ended 2016 which increased by 11.5% over that in the Fiscal Year Ended 2015.

 My Focus is on Pretax Income Rather Than on After-Tax Net Income Because Income Taxes are Simply a Transfer of Financial Wealth Between US Corporations and the US Federal, US State and Foreign Governments.  It Has Nothing Whatsoever to do with Company Operating Performance.

From a review of SEC filings, the chart below shows the Audited Gold-Standard US GAAP Pretax Income (Loss) From Continuing Operations for the Fiscal Years Ended 2017, 2016 and 2015 for these 12 Wisconsin Companies located outside of the Milwaukee area with stock market caps above $1 Bil recently.
