Massachusetts 26 Largest Technology and Health Care Company Audited 2013 Earnings Up 933% Over 2009

When you think Massachusetts Businesses, the so many outstanding research centers there for High Technology and Health Care come top of mind.  And since First Lady Michelle Obama is visiting Boston, MA on this Friday October 3, 2014 in a fundraiser for Democratic Massachusetts Governor candidate Martha Oakley, I think it would be helpful to research how the 26 largest Massachusetts High Technology and Health Care Companies with Market Capitalizations now of at least $3 bil each and with annual audited financial statements filed with the SEC covering all years from 2007 to 2013 have done on the earnings front before, during and after the late 2008 financial meltdown.

From a review of their SEC filings, the Total Audited Net Income from Continuing Operations of these 26 largest Massachusetts Technology and Health Care Companies were $8.326 bil in the Most Recent Year 2013, a massive 10.3 times the comparable financial meltdown aftermath year earnings in 2009 of $0.806 bil.

In addition, the Total Audited Earnings of these 26 largest Massachusetts Technology and Health Care Companies in 2013 of $8.326 bil were up an off-the-charts spectacular 184% over the comparable earnings in 2007 of $2.932 bil, which was the peak year earnings before the disastrous effects of the 2008 financial meltdown hit......these Massachusetts Technology and Health Care Companies not only recouped the earnings they lost with the financial meltdown, but they also added another massive 184% of earnings.

This off-the-charts spectacular earnings recovery for these 26 largest Massachusetts Technology and Health Care Companies from 2008 to the most recent 2013 occurred when probably the nation's finest Governor Deval Patrick was Massachusetts' Governor, the US Senate was under Democratic control, all of Massachusetts US House of Representatives were Democrats and also when Barack Obama was US President.  The US financial meltdown occurred in late 2008, in George W. Bush's last year as US President.

Given the above annual earnings history, it only makes sense to me that the earnings in the next two years of Massachusetts Companies have a much better chance of being much higher if Democrat Martha Coakley is elected Massachusetts Governor.

Below here are the Audited Net Income (Losses) of each of these 26 largest Massachusetts High Technology and Health Care Companies for 2013, 2009 and 2007, along with the related percentage changes:

Indiana 22 Largest Company Audited 2013 Earnings Up 778% Over 2008

Since President Obama is visiting the Evansville, Ind area on this Friday October 3, 2014 and pretty consistently gets hammered by many Hoosiers about how he has seriously harmed Indiana businesses, I think it would be helpful to research how the 22 largest Indiana Companies with Market Capitalizations now of at least $1 bil each and with annual audited financial statements filed with the SEC covering all years from 2007 to 2013 have done on the earnings front before, during and after the late 2008 financial meltdown.

From a review of their SEC filings, the Total Audited Net Income from Continuing Operations of these 22 largest Indiana Companies were $13.62 bil in the Most Recent Year 2013, a massive 8.8 times the comparable financial meltdown year earnings in 2008 of $1.55 bil.

In addition, the Total Audited Earnings of these 22 largest Indiana Companies in 2013 of $13.62 bil were up an impressive 38% over the comparable earnings in 2007 of $9.88 bil, which was the peak year earnings before the disastrous effects of the 2008 financial meltdown hit......these Indiana Companies not only recouped the earnings they lost with the financial meltdown, but they also added another 38% of earnings.

This off-the-charts spectacular earnings recovery for these 22 largest Indiana Companies from 2008 to the most recent 2013 occurred when the US Senate was under Democratic control and also when Barack Obama was US President.  The US financial meltdown occurred in late 2008, in George W. Bush's last year as US President.

Given the above annual earnings history, it only makes sense to me that the earnings in the next two years of Indiana Companies, and also frankly of all US Companies in all industries, have a much better chance of being much higher under a US Senate controlled by the Democrats than by the Republicans.

Below here are the Audited Net Income (Losses) of each of these 22 largest Indiana Companies for 2013, 2008 and 2007:

Illinois 55 Largest Company Audited Profits Were $111 bil in 2 Years 2012 and 2013 vs $40 bil in 2 Years 2008 and 2009

Since the Illinois Governors Race is heating up and also since President Barack Obama is campaigning for Illinois Governor Pat Quinn in the middle of this week, I think it would be helpful to research how the 55 Illinois Companies with Market Capitalizations now of at least $3 bil each and with annual audited financial statements filed with the SEC covering all years from 2008 to 2013 have done on the earnings front before, during and after the 2008 US financial meltdown.

After the disastrous 2008 financial meltdown to the present date, Democrat Pat Quinn was the Illinois State Governor.

These 55 largest Illinois Companies include the combined Abbott Labs and AbbVie, both of which resulted from the recent Abbott Labs spinoff.  In like manner, these 55 also include Mondelez, Intl. and Kraft Foods Group, also resulting from the recent Kraft Foods spinoff.  Accenture is also included in the 55 below below since it has such substantial operations in the Chicago area, even though it legally is headquartered overseas primarily for income tax reasons.  And the large HSBC Finance Corp, headquartered in the Chicago area, is also included in the 55 below even though its common stock doesn't trade, but because it files its financial statements with the SEC since it has both publicly-traded Preferred Stock and many publicly-traded Notes and also since its Total Stockholders' Equity exceeds $6.6 bil.

The Total Audited Net Income from Continuing Operations of these 55 largest Illinois Companies for the 2 Most Recent Years 2012 and 2013 totaled a massive $111 bil, an increase of a spectacular 178% over the $40 bil comparable total earnings for the 2 Years 2008 and 2009.

In addition, the Total Audited Earnings of these 55 largest Illinois Companies in 2013 of $60.7 bil were up a very impressive 65% over the comparable earnings in 2007 of $36.8 bil, which was the peak year earnings before the disastrous effects of the 2008 financial meltdown hit......these Illinois Companies not only recouped the earnings they lost with the financial meltdown, but they also added another incredibly high 65% of earnings.

This incredibly off-the-charts earnings recovery for these 55 largest Illinois Companies from 2008-2009 to the most recent 2013 occurred when Democrat Pat Quinn was the Illinois Governor and also when Democrats had a majority in the US Senate, Illinois US Senator Dick Durbin was the US Democratic Senate Whip and so many of the Illinois US House of Representatives were Democrats.

Below here are the Audited Net Income (Losses) of each of these 55 largest Illinois Companies for each of the following six years: 2013, 2012, 2011, 2009, 2008 and 2007:
